- Developed a Slice of the Arcade Racing Genre
- Implemented Core Systems and Gameplay Mechanics, as well implementing new systems while maintaining the Arcade Racing feel.
- Designed and Developed the Stage Builder system with a built in text editor for a level editor
- Built up the game's rendering system with the help of SFML's library.
Project Details
The OutRun Experiment was to create a slice of the arcade racing genre, focusing on the fast-paced action and vibrant visuals that defined the original OutRun game experience.

While the OutRun Experiment is being developed into a full game, reminiscent of the original OutRun. This project proved to be a significant challenge in my experience with C++ and low-level game development, as I had to implement many core systems from scratch, like rendering, input handling, audio management systems, and the stage builder itself. This project serves as a testament to my dedication to learning and mastering C++ and game development fundamentals. I look forward to sharing more details on the development process and the future of the project.
